Global CMO & CEO Leadership Summit at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara

Event Purpose

BDI Events partnered with a leading research-based global association to produce an exclusive, high-profile gathering of more than 300 CMOs and CEOs from top corporations around the world. Designed as both a premier networking forum and a catalyst for executive-level learning, the multi-day experience emphasized clarity of content, seamless logistics and elevated touchpoints at every turn.

Our client is known for its rigorous, data-driven approach, making measurable impact a top priority. Under BDI’s full-service event management, this year’s program achieved an unprecedented Net Promoter Score of 86%, a major leap from its historic mid-70s ratings. This result marked the highest score in the event’s history and placed the program firmly in “world-class” territory.

BDI managed the event end-to-end, overseeing all strategy, production and execution. This included content development, staging and AV, F&B design, evening events, vendor and sponsor management, and onsite logistics. The program featured dynamic general sessions, focused deep-dive breakouts, more than 30 custom sponsor activations and four simultaneous offsite networking experiences designed to drive meaningful peer connection.

Hosted at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, the event delivered a refined environment that matched the caliber of its attendees—ultimately setting a new benchmark for the client’s annual flagship gathering.

Global Tech Company Sales Kick-Off

Event Purpose

Hosted in San Diego, CA, this tech sales kick-off was an extensive, informative and highly engaging 5-day event. For this successful corporate event, BDI’s event planning team oversaw the production of every facet, including: 

  • The opening night and its racecar-themed reception

  • Daily plenary sessions and simultaneous breakout sessions

  • A total of 7 simultaneous private dinners located throughout downtown San Diego

  • Coordinated transportation for all 650 guests to and from the airport and offsite events

  • The closing evening gala held outdoors on the San Diego Bay

President’s Club Sales Incentive Trip

Event Purpose

This client hired us to help them reward their top 30 sales representatives with 3 nights/4 days in Bermuda. Joining the sales team were their own personal guests as well as the company’s C-Suite team.

BDI provided full-service planning for this trip, including:

  • Sourcing ideas for potential destinations

  • Negotiating the selected venue’s contract

  • Designing the evening events, complete with entertainment, décor, food and beverage

  • Arranging for airport transportation and on-the-ground transport for all guests

  • Pitching and securing (4) activities/excursions for attendees to choose from

  • Overseeing guest rooming list and billing

  • Securing branded gifts for attendees

  • Designing attendee communications/promotions/signage

Executive Corporate Roadshow

Event Purpose

BDI Events led the strategic planning and execution of a multi-city executive education series for a leading corporate tech company. Hosted over the course of two months in key markets, including San Diego, Dallas, New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Atlanta, each one-day event featured thought-leadership presentations by C-suite executives, followed by curated networking experiences over lunch or dinner.

Customer Experience Roadshow

Event Purpose

Each year for California’s Destination Marketing Organization, BDI Events plans and manages four roadshows that promote tourism to California. The roadshow visited various cities, such as Chicago, Washington D.C., Atlanta and Minneapolis. During these events, 20-25 local Convention & Visitors Bureau partners from across the state travel to U.S. cities to connect with potential clients and promote California as a premier location for meetings and events. For each roadshow, we manage the selection and coordination of high-end F&B, experiential activities (ex. MLB games), gifting experiences, and DOM branding and decor.
