Reimagining a Milestone Celebration
THE CHALLENGE
An educational nonprofit engaged BDI Events to reimagine its gala in honor of the organization's 20th Anniversary. Having not hosted a gala in more than a decade, the event needed to do more than celebrate a milestone. It had to reconnect supporters, recognize key contributors to the organization's success, showcase two decades of impact, and generate significant funding to support future growth.
THE STRATEGY
BDI Events transformed the gala into both a celebration and fundraising platform through a cohesive vision spanning creative direction, branding, production, guest experience, program development, and fundraising strategy. Highlights included an interactive 20-year timeline, a branded Blue Carpet with
Glambot activation, and a live performance by Lawrence, all designed to deepen engagement and inspire support..
IMPACT
The sold-out gala raised more than $3 million, exceeding fundraising goals and providing critical support for future initiatives. Beyond its financial success, the event re-engaged longtime supporters, elevated awareness of the organization's impact, and established a renewed foundation for its next chapter.
